Adena and Eric’s wedding was a dream come true! After meeting seventeen years ago during tailgating parties with mutual friends, these two never thought their friendship would be anything more. But a few years ago, they ran into each other after years of not seeing one another, and the sparks were there! They went on a first date, and then another, and soon enough, Adena was meeting Eric’s sons, and then they were moving in together, and suddenly they getting engaged on the dock of Fitger’s Inn in Duluth in the fall of 2019. They were excitedly planning their wedding when the pandemic hit. They had to reschedule their wedding not once, not twice, but THREE times to ensure their loved one’s safety.  

Finally, their plans came together and they were able to safely have their wedding at The 3 Ten Event Venue in Faribault, Minnesota. This vintage, industrial venue with tin ceilings, crystal chandeliers, exposed brick and stone walls, and a stunning handcrafted bar was the perfect place for their indoor ceremony and reception.  With gorgeous details like mismatched dusty pink bridesmaids’ dresses, a round gold floral backdrop by 651 Studio and Floral Design, a mouth-watering dessert table featuring Hey There Cupcake, and sparkler machines – this celebration was well-worth the wait! And these two were the absolute sweetest to invite my husband to the wedding, too, since our anniversary and my birthday both fell on their wedding date. Adena brought me to tears when she wished me a happy birthday in front of her guests during the toasts. I’m so fortunate to be surrounded by the most incredibly gracious people! Thank you, Adena and Eric, for bringing so much joy to the lives of so many people! It was an absolute honor to witness this day, and I’m so grateful for your friendship!
